Dr. Sally Brant | Dr. Jason Khanna | Dr. Jillian Thornton
Drs. Brant, Khanna and Thornton are members of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and are certified by the Ministry of Health and the College of Optometrists of Ontario to prescribe ocular drug therapeutics.
Our role as optometrists is to be your front line vision health doctor. We prescribe treatments ranging from corrective eyewear, eye co-ordination exercises, therapeutic medicine and when necessary, referral to appropriate specialists for advanced medical, surgical or laser intervention.
We welcome back our existing patients and are eager to see new faces as well! We pride ourselves on a patient-centered approach in running our clinic and strive to address each of our patients’ visual needs and questions. We work in the best interest of you, our patient, in the hopes of preserving the high quality of vision you deserve throughout all stages of your life.
Dr. Sally Brant
Dr. Brant received her Honours Bachelor of Science with Biology Minor degree and later graduated as a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo in 2005. While at study, Dr. Brant completed her externship at Osler and Credit Valley Eye Care Centers in Brampton and Mississauga. Here she gained a working knowledge of emergent eye care in Ontario and refined her clinical techniques for diagnosing and treating eye disease.
Dr. Brant is originally from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory located near the Bay of Quinte, Ontario. Her professional interests are close to home, and regard the rise of diabetes in First Nations populations and its effect on long term eye health. She enjoys public speaking on behalf of diabetic wellness initiatives and promotes the eye’s important role in overall health care.
In her leisure, Dr. Brant enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband and two sons.

Dr. Jason Khanna
Dr. Jason Khanna was born and raised in Woodstock, Ontario. He attended the University of Waterloo where he completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree followed by a Doctor of Optometry degree. During his time at The University of Waterloo, Dr. Khanna received several awards for assisting in the development of a simulated cataract model which was used in further research. He also completed an externship at the Eye Associates of Pinellas in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he was involved in the treatment and management of eye disease. Dr. Khanna completed an externship at Lifetime Vision Care in St. Marys, Ontario as well, where he was involved in primary eye care. Dr. Khanna enjoys the many challenges of helping people as an optometrist.
In his spare time Dr. Khanna enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. He resides in Woodstock with his wife and two daughters.
Dr. Jillian Thornton
Dr. Jillian Thornton is originally from Tillsonburg, Ontario. She studied Biology at the University of Western Ontario before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo. While pursuing her Optometry degree she completed an externship at Barnet-Dulaney-Perkins Eye Center in Mesa, Arizona, where she was actively involved in the pre- and post-operative management of cataract, glaucoma, refractive procedures, and retinal disease.
Dr. Thornton enjoys many aspects of Optometry including ocular disease management, pediatrics, contact lens fitting and pre- and post-operative LASIK care. Dr. Thornton is excited to be a part of such a dynamic and patient-focused practice.
In her spare time Dr. Thornton enjoys running, sewing and spending time with her husband and sons.
